The volunteers will meet at 10am by the Scout Hut at the Southern Road car park. There has been a lot of vegetation growth this year so tasks will include cutting some of it back to keep paths clear and let light onto the brook.

The volunteers will meet at 10am in the Scout Hut car park. The main task will be to weed the hedges planted a year ago. This involved pulling up cleavers and nettles that are smothering the young hawthorns. Bring strong work gloves if you have them, we can provide some for those that don’t.

We are meeting at 10am at the Scout Hut car park off Southern Road.  Jobs include spreading woodchips on some of the muddiest bits of paths so they are easier to use without trampling the flora.

We plan to meet at 10am on Sunday at the Scout Hut car park. As the ground is still frozen we will have to postpone the planting of replacement trees in the clearing in Cox’s Wood until 15th January.

However there are jobs to do, so wrap up warm and come and help.
